Shuangyu, an influential producer of dried pork slices based in the Jingjiang Southern Industrial Park – located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently included in the third batch of China's time-honored brands.

The announcement, officially released by five departments including the Ministry of Commerce on Feb 1, recognizes 382 brands as being time-honored.
Shuangyu is the first and only brand from Taizhou city to have been so listed, signifying a significant milestone in the development of time-honored brands in the city. The inclusion is also expected to provide substantial support for the growth of the city's dried pork slices industry.
The company has garnered provincial and national acclaim, including the title of "model company for the production of high-quality dried pork slices" at the Jingjiang leisure food industry high-quality development forum, held last year.
Time-honored brands are widely acknowledged for their rich history, cultural significance, unique techniques, advanced equipment, excellent services and effective marketing.
