This resolute emphasis is said to underscore the city's unswerving focus on economic development and the pursuit of high-quality growth.

Most notably, the city's industrial invoicing topped 200 billion yuan for the first time in 2023.

The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone jumped to 98th position on the list of China's top 100 development zones last year, a significant leap of 12 places on the previous year.

In the current year, it's believed the zone is determined to attract more major projects and achieve new breakthroughs in drawing in investment.

Meanwhile, the Jiangyin-Jingjiang Industrial Park is said to be poised to fortify its key industries, including shipbuilding and special metallurgy, while also directing attention towards new energy and automobile parts.

Furthermore, the city is actively engaged in optimizing the allocation of crucial resources and enhancing infrastructure to bolster economic and social development.

In recent years, the city's administrative departments have concentrated on streamlining the approvals process and introducing major projects, resulting in a substantial improvement in the business environment.

Moving forwards, plans are in motion for Jingjiang to concentrate on its leading industrial clusters and emerging industry supply chains – and fortify the business environment to achieve top-quality development.
