The town of Xieqiao – situated in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in East China's Jiangsu province – has adopted a comprehensive strategy to bolster its local economy and industry supply chain.

Central to the approach is a focus on providing wide-ranging services, advancing infrastructure development and fostering collaborative initiatives to cultivate a vibrant environment for both businesses and residents.

One notable development within the town has been the recent completion of the Jingjiang Talent Station – an apartment complex that welcomed its first residents from manufacturer Sprint Precision Technologies (Jiangsu) Co Ltd in March.

With five floors and a variety of room types, the apartment complex aims to address the housing needs of personnel working for local enterprises.

Having secured occupancy agreements with several businesses, the complex plans to expand its facilities by constructing additional public facilities for the convenience of residents.

Overall, Xieqiao town has witnessed growth in manufacturing sales and the development of science and technology-based small and medium-sized companies.

Furthermore, the town has actively promoted cooperation between villages and enterprises, leading to increased collective operating income for the villages and improved services for neighboring enterprises.

Nearby Jiangping village, for example, generated operating income of 1,446,800 yuan ($200,007) last year by providing labor services and machinery rentals.
