A Sanyuesan Temple Fair opened on April 10 in Gushan town – administered by Jingjiang city in East China's Jiangsu province – and is winding up at the close of business on April 12.

It's a traditional celebration of the Zhuang ethnic group, which takes place on the third day of the third month of the Chinese lunar calendar.

The festival draws local and nearby tourists to partake in folk culture, witness fireworks display and explore nearly 700 stalls offering a variety of goods.

"As a native of Gushan town, I come to the temple fair every year and when my grandson gets out of school, I'll bring him in the evening," said resident Zhang Meifang.

Zhang praised the enriching experience the temple fair has to offer, particularly for children.

The festival displays local specialties and exhibits specialty products from neighboring townships, promoting local products and boosting commerce between villages.
