As the eight-day Spring Festival holiday concluded on Feb 4, companies in Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, wasted no time reigniting production lines, seizing a prosperous beginning for 2025.

Leading the charge is Jiangsu Asian Star Anchor Chain Co Ltd, a global titan in anchor chain manufacturing. "We had resumed full operations on the third day of the Chinese New Year," said Zhang Weixin, executive vice-president.

Workers operated automated machinery, conducted quality inspections, and packaged finished products at Jiangsu Dazhong Electric Motor Co Ltd's intelligent production lines.

As a high-tech enterprise at the national level, Dazhong Motor holds over 40 national and provincial-level certifications for innovative technologies.

This year, the company will ramp up research and development investments to bolster independent innovation and product quality while accelerating its expansion into emerging sectors like new energy vehicles and the low-altitude economy.

Meanwhile, Jiangsu Minsheng Heavy Industries Co Ltd has also resumed operations. "Our current production schedule is packed until August," said Ni Jiaming, the company's chairman.

Beyond meeting urgent orders, Jingjiang's enterprises set ambitious goals for sustained growth, spanning market expansion, product diversification, and R&D breakthroughs.
