A newly assembled Everllence marine engine has recently been lifted for shipment from Jiangsu Duokai Power Machinery in Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, to Shandong. This marks the company's second significant engine release since its first unit debuted in June.
The 6G50ME model, Duokai's flagship, provides a steady output of 7,490 kilowatt at around 79 revolutions per minute, intended to power 82,000-metric ton bulk carriers.
Duokai is a technology enterprise specializing in large marine diesel engine components. It is the fourth private manufacturer in China and the first in Jiangsu to produce Everllence low-speed marine engines.
After delivering its first 6S40MEC engine in June, the company now has orders planned through 2028.
Nineteen additional Everllence engines are slated for delivery in the second half of this year.
