Alibaba's fresh food retail brand Freshippo launched its first Jingjiang store at Incity mall on Aug 15, generating widespread excitement through coordinated merchant promotions that attracted massive customer traffic.
Statistics indicate that in the first four days of Freshippo's launch, the mall attracted 232,000 visits, representing a 220 percent increase year-on-year. Sales also grew by 221 percent compared to the same period last year.
As a core commercial area within the Mazhou Park's business district, Incity has launched innovative retail concepts. Freshippo's grand opening not only attracted a large number of shoppers but also expanded shopping choices for residents.
The mall is set to also feature a theater, art toy brands, live streaming of sports events, and night markets in the future.
