Jingjiang Special Steel Co Ltd, located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, recently signed a cooperation agreement for the digital transformation of the 258 seamless steel pipe production line with the Institute of Engineering Technology at University of Science and Technology Beijing.
The project is meant to serve as a benchmark for the digitalization of thin-wall steel pipe production by integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine vision, and big data analysis.
It will enable visual AI analysis, intelligent warehouse management, smart safety and environmental monitoring, material tracking, and the optimization of key process parameters. By upgrading control panels and integrating human-machine interfaces, it will establish an industry-leading intelligent control center.
The Jingjiang ETDZ is encouraging companies to invest in technological infrastructure, fostering innovative cooperation, and upgrading its servers to support industry-university-research collaboration.
