Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, located in Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, has secured positions on the 2025 Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises and Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises lists recently released by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, with annual revenue reaching 32.46 billion yuan ($4.55 billion).
As a top-five global shipbuilder, the company maintains shipbuilding and offshore engineering as its core business while diversifying into shipping leasing, trade logistics, and other sectors, demonstrating robust comprehensive capabilities.
This year, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has secured new orders for 36 vessels valued at $1.46 billion, with its order backlog ensuring full production capacity for the next five years.
In the first half of the year, the company achieved total revenue of 12.9 billion yuan, smoothly delivering 23 new vessels, 41 percent of its annual target of 56 deliveries.
Notably, shipbuilding gross profit margin rose to a historic high of 35 percent, reflecting successful transformation toward high-end and green manufacturing.
