Jingjiang Border Inspection Station, in collaboration with the Jingjiang Branch of Bank of China, recently launched a promotional campaign for foreign personnel's payment services in China at the dock of New Times Shipbuilding, seeking to boost consumption among the demographic.
The border inspection officers and bank staff introduced personal financial service policies such as cash withdrawal and consumption, foreign currency exchange, mobile payment and transaction limit to foreign sailors and resident supervisors, as well as explained the mobile payment operation processes such as WeChat payment and Alipay payment.
In recent years, with the continuous expansion of high-level opening-up, an increasing number of foreign ships are docking at Jingjiang Port. The foreign crew members who come with theships have become an important driving force for consumption.
In addition, 29 docks in Jingjiang Port have released a guide for crew boarding and disembarking services, which introduces the convenient service facilities in the areas surrounding the docks, such as catering, shopping, and leisure spots.
