As the drafter of domestic standards for the electric spindle industry, Jiangsu Xinchen High-speed Electric Motor in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, has made innovation a priority, continuously tackling bottlenecks related to the development of high-end electric spindles.

In the first 10 months, the company saw its output value increased by more than 40 percent compared to the same period last year.

To meet the growing demand for orders, the company has invested over 20 million yuan ($2.83 million) this year to promote a technological transformation project. Currently, nearly 20 precision machining equipment have been put into operation.

"Our current orders have been scheduled for the second half of next year, and the technological transformation project is projected to further enhance our ability to deliver orders," said Liu Jia, director of the company's production department.

As the "heart" of computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools, the precision and speed of the electric spindle determine the machining level of high-end manufacturing. "Breaking through in the manufacturing industry, technological innovation is the only shortcut. Since our establishment, we have consistently invested over 15 percent of our annual revenue in research and technological transformation," said Liu Zhao, general manager of the company.

The company currently has a market share of over 80 percent in China's 3C (computer, communication, and consumer electronics) industry.
