Cargo throughput of Jingjiang Port exceeds 288 million tons

Statistics showed that in 2025, the cargo throughput of Jingjiang Port in Jingjiang, a county-level city administered by Taizhou, Jiangsu province, exceeded 288 million metric tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.2 percent, ranking first in Taizhou.

In 2025, the main five types of cargo at Jingjiang Port were coal and related products, mining and construction materials, metallic ores, grains, and non-metallic ores, accounting for 94.1 percent of total throughput.

The throughput of coal and related products reached 109.78 million tons, accounting for 38.1 percent, up 10.8 percent year-on-year.

In addition, the cargo throughput of the port's domestic trade reached 272.55 million tons, accounting for 94.5 percent of total throughput and marking a year-on-year increase of 4.7 percent, while the throughput of foreign trade goods was 15.93 million tons, accounting for 5.5 percent of total throughput.

Jingjiang Port has seen a throughput of over 100 million tons since 2015. The port is on a fast-growing trajectory, steadily strengthening its position among ports along the Yangtze River.
