Jingjiang plans to construct more than 19 key agricultural projects

Jingjiang in East China's Jiangsu province is poised to accelerate the development of key agricultural and rural projects this year, with plans to construct more than 19 new projects, totaling over 1.93 billion yuan ($278.11 million) in investment.

In 2026, the city will continue to develop a comprehensive industrial chain centered on grain and oil processing, logistics, and leisure food manufacturing.

It also aims to promote the deep integration of culinary and agricultural cultures, as well as deep processed products, to increase product value and core competitiveness. It also seeks to boost industrial development and rural aesthetics through regional development.

In 2025, the city completed 24 key agricultural and rural projects, with an annual investment of 1.93 billion yuan.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), a total of 98 key agricultural and rural projects were implemented, with a total investment of 9.66 billion yuan.

These projects involved stable production and supply, facility agriculture, smart agriculture, green agriculture, industrial integration, rural construction, and other fields.
