The magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage equipment developed by Jingjiang Asian-Pacific Logistics Equipment Corp, or JJAP Tank, located within the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Taizhou, was included in the list of 2024 first set major equipment announced by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu recently.
The first set of major equipment refers to equipment that has made major breakthroughs in terms of varieties, specifications, or technical parameters, possessing independent intellectual property rights but yet to achieve market viability.
Recognition at the provincial or national level means that the performance or core technical indicators of the piece of equipment have reached the domestic leading or internationally-advanced level.
The equipment developed by JJAP Tank has made breakthroughs in solid-state hydrogen storage and transportation technology. A single tank container can store and transport up to 1 metric ton of hydrogen, which is more than twice the capacity of gaseous storage and transportation.
Moreover, the equipment stores hydrogen at room temperature and normal pressure, resulting in safer, more efficient, and cost-effective storage and transportation.
