The 137th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, is on right now until May 5 in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, and is being held in three phases.
Taixing in Jiangsu province has organized 25 of its enterprises to attend, occupying 68 exhibition booths in total.
These cover 10 industries including motorcycles, electronics and electrical engineering, construction machinery and household appliances.
Faced with the current challenging international trade situation, the city's enterprises regard the Canton Fair as an important opportunity to explore emerging markets.
A high-energy density battery series launched by Taixing-based lithium-ion battery manufacturer Jiangsu Sunpower generated 600 preliminary orders on the first day, thanks to the 15C ultra high-rate discharge and industry-leading endurance of its products.
Elsewhere, Taixing Longyi Terminals closely follows market demands and it has developed multiple energy storage and new energy sector products.
