Founded in 1956, Jiangsu Sudong Chemical Machinery, located in Guxi town, Taixing city, Jiangsu province, is growing from a traditional agricultural machinery manufacturer into a leader in environmental protection equipment.
The company has been engaged in the research, design, and manufacturing of filter presses for over 20 years and in recent years has been increasing research and development investment, successfully extending its industrial chain from producing single filter presses to providing complete sets of environmentally friendly sludge treatment equipment.

It currently has over 60 national patents, with its independently developed rubber diaphragm filter press boasting a market share of up to 60 percent in China's chlor alkali and steel industries.
A 200-square-meter water flushing filter press is the company's latest product, adopting a dual system of gantry vibration and water flushing that solves the common problem of mud sticking to the filter cloth.
The company currently has 500 models of filter press products, which are popular throughout the country and exported to over 10 countries.
"To expand production capacity, our company will invest 40 million yuan ($5.55 million) this year to build a smart factory, which is expected to be put into operation in the first half of next year," said Zhou Dekuan, chairman of the company.
