Despite a complex global economic and trade landscape, Taixing's foreign trade sector remained robust in 2025.

The city achieved a total import and export volume of $6.67 billion, a 5.6 percent year-on-year increase. This not only marks a record high for Taixing but also makes it the fastest-growing administrative region in Taizhou in terms of foreign trade.

The success can be attributed to a series of effective measures, such as a "one-on-one" service mechanism for key enterprises that ensures weekly tracking and real-time responses to corporate needs. Over 28 practical issues related to financing, customs clearance, and tax refunds were resolved through the system, easing operational pressures for businesses.

Furthermore, Taixing actively supported companies in exploring emerging markets by arranging for over 100 firms to participate in major domestic and international exhibitions like the Canton Fair and the China-ASEAN Expo. It also encouraged businesses to tap into new markets such as the Belt and Road Initiative and RCEP regions. Three local enterprises specializing in musical instruments were recognized as national key cultural export enterprises.

Innovation was another driving force, with a focus on digital transformation in industries like musical instruments and electromechanics. The Global Cross-border E-commerce Innovation Service Center serves over 100 companies annually, aiding their transition to online platforms. Additionally, 16 overseas warehouses were established around the world, enhancing the efficiency and global reach of "Made in Taixing" products.
