The CXIC container project, developed by CXIC Group, is set to revolutionize the container manufacturing industry with a massive 5-billion-yuan ($726.51 million) investment. Located in the Hongqiao Industrial Park in Taixing, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, the project commenced construction in March 2025 and spans 31.4 hectares with a total construction area of 230,000 square meters.

The project features state-of-the-art facilities, including a digital production workshop, research building, office spaces and a large storage yard. All of these are equipped with fully intelligent machinery, creating a cutting-edge smart manufacturing line for containers. With its steel structure nearly complete, the project is on track for trial production by June 2026.
Capitalizing on its strategic location near the port, the project innovatively integrates smart container manufacturing with customs supervision and wharf management. This integration aims to alleviate port storage pressure, reduce logistics costs and expand multimodal transport networks.
Upon completion, the facility is expected to produce 400,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) and 50,000 TEUs of specialized containers annually, generating an estimated 7 billion yuan in sales and 300 million yuan in taxes each year. This ambitious project is poised to elevate Taixing's competitiveness in smart container manufacturing and inject robust momentum into the local economy along the Yangtze River.
