In Taixing, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, the high-end manufacturing sector is accelerating its development with cutting-edge technologies.
Xenith Technology has inaugurated its lithium battery anode material project, investing a staggering 1.58 billion yuan ($231.32 million). Xenith Technology, based in Taixing's Hongqiao Industrial Park and with registered capital exceeding 200 million yuan, stands out as one of the few enterprises in China capable of producing 4.5 micrometers ultra-thin copper foil in rolls exceeding 50,000 meters.
Covering 6.54 hectares and totaling 78,000 square meters of construction space, the project includes new workshops, office buildings, and supporting facilities. It has equipped itself with 702 sets of high-end machinery, such as precision cathode rollers and foil-forming systems, ensuring top-notch product quality and production efficiency.

Xenith Technology's ultra-thin, high-precision copper foils, which range from 4.5 to 9μm, are known for their high ductility and tensile strength. These foils have been included in China's catalog for strategic emerging industries. The company is also pioneering the development of 3.5μm copper foil, overcoming technical barriers in the industry and enhancing the competitiveness of domestically produced ultra-thin copper foils.
Upon full operation, the project is expected to generate an annual sales revenue of 2.2 billion yuan and contribute 100 million yuan in taxes, becoming a key economic driver for the Hongqiao Industrial Park and injecting strong momentum into the national new energy sector.
