Twenty-three Taixing enterprises have been named to Jiangsu province's 2026 advanced smart factory list, signaling a major step forward in the digital transformation of the city's manufacturing industry.

At CINIC Chemical (Taixing)'s central control room, real-time production data streams across large screens, tracking equipment performance, material consumption, and energy metrics. The high-performance organic pigment producer overhauled its workshops through an industrial internet platform that fully integrates production control with management systems, enabling unified oversight and intelligent scheduling.

The upgrades lifted comprehensive resource utilization from 82 percent to 86.7 percent, boosted labor productivity by 19.75 percent, and cut carbon dioxide emissions per unit of output by 11.21 percent.

Jiangsu Hehai Water Supply and Drainage Equipment also earned the honor by building a digital collaboration system linking design, production and inspection into modular, customized manufacturing.

In recent years, Taixing has implemented a three-year smart transformation plan, combining targeted policy support, benchmark leadership and on-site guidance.

Looking ahead, the city plans to continue advancing a tiered smart factory cultivation framework spanning basic, advanced, excellent, and pilot levels under its "333" modern industrial system — which involves enhancing three clusters of distinctive, advantageous industries, tackling three strategic emerging sub-sectors, and positioning for three future industries, while deepening the integration of artificial intelligence with manufacturing to fuel high-quality growth.
