Plans are for the Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city in East China's Jiangsu province – to focus on its lead projects, specialist industry supply chains and specialist industrial parks in the current year, with the goal to construct six parks there.
These will be a semiconductors equipment industrial park, a solar new-energy industrial park, an eco-friendly industrial park, a headquarters economy industrial park, an inspection and testing industrial park and a Sino-Italian cooperation industrial park.

The zone wants to establish a new development pattern in which "every park has its leading industry and special highlight".
In addition, it wants to grab the attention of leading enterprises to attract upstream and downstream enterprises.
It will move to attract business in the first phase of the eco-friendly industrial park, the establishment of an industrial waste-water treatment plant and a foreign investment project with $100 million investment in new-energy automotive parts – as well as the settlement of enterprises in the solar energy sector.
Furthermore, the zone will ramp up its dealings with venture capital institutions and adopt finance, capital, industry funds and other paths to expand projects.
