The county-level city of Xinghua in East China's Jiangsu province is committed to creating a comprehensive traffic and transportation network covering air, rail, the waterways and its expressways.
Several expressways – such as the Funing-Liyang Expressway and national highway No 344 and provincial highway No 351 – now stretch across the city, linking it to the entire country.

Nowadays, it just takes around 40 minutes to get from downtown to Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport.
An under-construction interurban railway linking the cities of Yancheng, Taizhou, Wuxi and Changzhou and the Ninghuai-Xinghua-Taizhou high-speed railway – which is about to start construction – will pave the way for the city to enter the high-speed rail era and integrate with the one-hour commuting circle of Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou.
