An unveiling ceremony was held on April 12 in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone – located in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – to mark the establishment of the Fu Xuecheng Expert Workstation there.
A leading expert in the field of fire extinguishing agents, Fu Xuesheng works for the Tianjin Fire Science and Technology Research Institute at the Ministry of Emergency Management, or MEM.
Fu has worked with Jiangsu Suolong Fire Science and Technology Co Ltd – based in the Xinghua EDZ – on a number of projects and has led a team that has made a series of achievements.
These include an eco-friendly and efficient Class A foam extinguishing agent and a compressed air foam extinguishing agent.
The establishment of the workstation is regarded as a deeper level of cooperation between the Xinghua EDZ and the Tianjin institute, to improve the technical level of China's foam extinguishing agents industry.
As a top company in the fire foam extinguishing agents sector for more than 50 years, Jiangsu Suolong Fire Science and Technology Co Ltd has participated in the formulation or revision of eight national and industry standards.
It established close ties with the Tianjin institute in 2013.
