I. Xinghua Wooden Boat
In ancient times, Zhuhong town in Taizhou, had a renowned workshop for crafting coastal fishing boats. This craft flourished during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. In 2006, it was listed as intangible cultural heritage in Jiangsu province, and in 2008, it received national recognition as a traditional skill.
