The fitness trail in Fengqi Lake Park – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently recognized as one of the most beautiful running routes in the province.
The park, located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, has a lake area of 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares) and a green area of nearly 90 hectares.

The park features a 4.5-kilometer fitness trail that wraps around the lake, mainly on an asphalt road. The trail is flat and motor vehicles are forbidden there.
There are five pavilions and various benches along the trail, with clear road signs and fitness banners. Beverage machines, mobile food carts and public toilets are also located there, making it a great spot for running, jogging and power walking.
Folks exercising on the trail will pass by a cultural experience area, forest recreation area, ecology popularization area and sports and entertainment area in the park.
The Shousheng Temple, founded in the year 1183 during the Song Dynasty (960-1279), can be seen in the cultural experience area.
