The festival featured mutton tastings, intangible cultural heritage performances, and the opportunity to purchase special agricultural products.
A total of 10 major agricultural projects were signed at the opening ceremony, and 12 villages and communities were awarded the title of "Model Village for Rural Vitalization."

Additionally, 10 agricultural businesses were recognized as the "Top 10 New Agricultural Business Entities."
In recent years, Diaopu, with its significant historical background, has focused on promoting traditional mutton production and perfecting distinct Diaopu mutton dishes.

Initiated in 2018, the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival coincides with the autumnal equinox each year.
The autumnal equinox is one of the 24 solar terms in the Chinese lunar calendar and usually falls between Sept 22 and 24, during the country's agricultural harvest season.
