As the temperature rises, a large variety of wonderful flowers in the Chinese Herbal Botanical Garden – located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province – are now in full bloom.
The garden – occupying an estimated 80,000 square meters – is situated between Taizhou Avenue and Koutai Road, beneath a corridor for major power lines north of Jiankang Avenue, with over 200 types of plants planted there.
Last year, the botanical garden was revamped with a whole host of new plants, improvements to the facilities, cultural promotions and data software upgrades, among other things.
Over 100 Chinese herbal medicine varieties can now be seen there, including medlar, isatis root, fennel and more.
What's more, the botanical garden also has a newly built herbal plant specimen room to entertain curious visitors.
