With a length of 248 meters, a width of 35.2 m and a depth of 19.2 m, the ship can load up to 51,000 metric tons. It can handle 3,700 standard containers, with 1,000 loaded into refrigerated containers.
Zhou Jinglei, deputy general manager of the company, said that a methanol dual-fuel ship built for a German company was also about to be delivered, laying a good foundation for the company's successful start to the current year.
Currently, the company has two high-tech shipbuilding facilities, the Yong'an yard and the Kouan yard, both located on the banks of the Yangtze River's golden waterway.
The company can build a range of container ships, multipurpose ships, oil tankers/chemicals tankers, bulk carriers, tugboats, ocean engineering ships and various barges below 120,000 deadweight tons.
