The bulk cargo ship Xin Bo Lian with a load capacity of 86,000 metric tons, built by manufacturer Taizhou Zhonghang Shipbuilding, located in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, recently sailed out of the Yangtze River on its trial voyage.
The ship's total length is 228.8 meters, the width is 36 m and the depth is 19.5 m.
It is designed as a bulk cargo ship with a single continuous deck, single propeller diesel engine drive and no forecastle. The upper structure adopts a low wind resistance design.

The ship's design and construction meets the classification requirements of AUTO-0 unattended machinery space.
The ship is also equipped with a selective catalytic reduction device, flap rudders and shaft generators, among others.
It is the largest bulk carrier built by the shipyard and is expected to be fully completed and delivered in early April.
Established in 2002, Taizhou Zhonghang Shipbuilding is mainly engaged in the manufacturing of railway, shipping, aerospace and other transportation equipment.
