Mingzhu sub-district in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone of Taizhou, Jiangsu province, is taking actions this year to contribute to the zone's high-quality economic development.
Xu Sida, an official from Mingzhu sub-district, said that the area will strive to attract projects and advance the upgrading of traditional industries this year.
Focusing on leading industries such as electronic information and high-end equipment manufacturing, the sub-district will expand its resource network by attracting investment into the industry chain and talent cultivation, seeking to boost capital return and project implementation.
It aims to break ground on eight projects worth over 10 million yuan ($1.39 million) each, six projects worth over 30 million yuan each, and three projects worth over 50 million yuan each this year.

In addition, the sub-district is carrying out its "Year of Traditional Industry Upgrading" campaign, which will establish a sound gradient cultivation system for small and medium-sized enterprises, encourage enterprises to upgrade through technological, digital and smart transformation, and bolster the transition of industries towards high-end and green development.
This year, the sub-district will strive to foster an environment more conducive to growth. This includes achieving a general public budget revenue of over 142 million yuan for the year, introducing distinctive first stores to inject new vitality into the urban economy, and improving service mechanisms for industries.
