The event featured the unveiling of the OHPC International Innovation Center and the Fully Biodegradable Materials Joint Laboratory. Agreements for four major projects were signed, including the OHPC International Innovation Center, the OHPC Fully Biodegradable Materials Project, the Fully Biodegradable Materials Joint Laboratory, and the OHPC Industry Alliance, marking significant strides in the advancement of eco-friendly technologies.
A preparatory meeting for the establishment of the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Fully Biodegradable Materials and Products was convened in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone on July 22, further solidifying the region's leadership in green industry standards.
The meeting and the launch of these landmark projects underscore Taizhou's resolve to leverage platforms like the Medical High-tech Zone and the Taizhou Port EDZ to drive green and low-carbon industries. The establishment of a 10,000-metric-ton OHPC production base, alongside the innovation center and joint laboratory, will significantly enhance Taizhou's research and development capabilities and industrial scale in the global biodegradable materials sector.
