Thirty-seven enterprises operating in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, are presenting their innovative products at the 138th edition of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, which started on Oct 15 and is set to run until Nov 4 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
The companies occupied 51 booths covering 22 industry categories such as electronics and electrical appliances and hardware tools. Both the number of exhibiting enterprises and booths have increased compared to last year.
On the first day, 13 exhibiting enterprises engaged in negotiations with more than 80 clients from North America, Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the Middle East.

Jiangsu Senci Electric Machinery brought its core products such as general generators, gasoline generators, and garden machinery. With advanced technology and excellent product quality, its booth attracted the attention of many foreign buyers.
Many participating companies said that the Canton Fair has consolidated the close connection between enterprises and traditional markets.
They also said that the Canton Fair has also opened up new business opportunities between enterprises and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
