The Taizhou Medical High-Tech Zone has launched the first AI-powered government service hotline in Taizhou, offering 24-hour intelligent voice consultations to residents and businesses. This innovative system functions as a continuous service window, aiming to quickly address typical administrative problems and enhance public access to information.
As digital governance progresses, the shortcomings of traditional, manpower- driven service models have become more apparent. In response, the Taizhou Medical High-Tech Zone has incorporated data technologies into government services, launching an intelligent consultation system after thorough research, technical development, and multiple testing phases.
The system now handles 12 common areas like business registration, food and drug oversight, and medical device management, overcoming the limitations of traditional service models related to time and location. Enabled by speech recognition, natural language processing, and big data analytics, it swiftly detects user questions and offers precise, standardized responses regarding administrative procedures, document preparation, and policy guidance — greatly enhancing service efficiency.
So far, the system has managed 262 consultation calls and addressed 80 voicemail messages, all responded to within 10 to 30 minutes. By integrating intelligent technology with human support, the zone has established a collaborative system that eases the workload on manual service counters and improves the efficiency and quality of government services.
