The Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, was recently included in the top ten of the "2024 China Biopharmaceutical Park Competitiveness Ranking", which looked at 208 industrial parks across the country.
It has been included in the top ten several years in a row.
The ranking was released by the China National Center for Biotechnology Development. The evaluation took into account a company's competitiveness in primary indicators such as in environment, industry, technology, talent, and cooperation, as well as 39 secondary indicators such as output value and growth rate of the biopharmaceutical industry and R&D investment.
In addition to the overall competitiveness ranking, the zone was also included among China's top ten biopharmaceutical parks in terms of industrial competitiveness and technological competitiveness.
