Bags of high-end powder oil products were stacked layer by layer in Jiangsu Leiva Biotech, located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, on Aug 28, ready to be shipped to Southeast Asia.
With a total investment of 530 million yuan ($78.97 million), the company's functional powder oil production project was put into operation in April.
The project is located in the zone's Port Industrial Park, equipped with 179 sets of homogenizers, spray drying towers and other automation equipment. Its core products are highly soluble low trans-fat powder and high-purity C8/C10 composite MCT whipping cream powder.
The project's core raw material, vegetable oil, is supplied by grain and oil enterprises in the park nearby, reducing the distance that raw materials need to be transported.
In the past four months, the company has achieved strong production and sales, producing about 5,000 tons of high-end powder oil products, which are exported to 36 countries and regions in Asia, Eastern Europe, South America, and other regions.
