In recent days, gardeners from a huge flower production center in Taizhou Modern Gardening Technology Industry Demonstration Park – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – have been busy with managing, packing and delivering flowers.

With the Spring Festival near, flowers are now in great demand and the production center sends estimated 20,000 pots of flowers to market every day.

The flower production base covers an area of 210,000 square meters and has used a 5G full-scene intelligent distributed digital agriculture applications system to build 23 intelligent electrified greenhouses. This can reduce 14,400 metric tons of carbon emissions a year.

The center generates annual sales of around 60 million yuan ($8.95 million). It is widely said to have contributed to local rural revitalization, enabling 140 local farmers to get jobs or increase their incomes.
The Taizhou Modern Gardening Technology Industry Demonstration Park, located in the Hailing district of Taizhou, was completed in August 2021.
It adheres to the concept of scientific and technological innovation, as well as eco-friendly and green development and industrial integration.
