To widen the green space in the district, Hailing in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, plans to build four green amusement parks this year to create an additional green area of 50,000 square meters.

In November, the fences around the district bureau of human resources and social security were removed, allowing the green landscape inside the wall to better integrate with the city.

The project planned to demolish a 105-meter wall and build new facilities such as screen walls, Chinese-style pavilions, benches, and solar lighting, providing a comfortable outdoor environment for locals.

In addition, the newly built amusement park at the northwestern corner of the intersection of Wuling Road and Yingchun West Road in Hailing was completed in May.

"This year, we have completed the work of adding service facilities, improving the functional layout, and strengthening ecological leisure elements in Hailing's parks to meet specific conditions," said an official from the district bureau of housing and urban-rural development.

Over the past three years, Hailing has implemented 187 greening projects, including green parks, simple greening of idle land, and the construction or replacement of roadside trees, adding an estimated 394 hectares of green space.
