Projects in the new energy industrial park in Hailing district of Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, recently ramped up their construction.
Phase I of a new photovoltaic module junction box plant being erected by manufacturer Sichuan Shidi New Energy Co Ltd, situated in Southwest China's Sichuan province, recently has received planning approval.
"With the strong support of the district committee and government, the project progress has accelerated by about two months than expected," said Liu Guoshai, the general manager.
Divided into two phases, the project will produce 200 gigawatts of solar power module junction boxes annually.
Elsewhere, Taizhou Kangqian Mechanical Manufacturing Co Ltd is engaged in aluminum alloy casting, forging, gold processing and surface treatment.
In a bid to boost its intelligent and digital transformation, it started Phase II project to build a green and intelligent aluminum alloy casting workshop and product packaging polishing workshop, as well as equip itself with an intelligent warehousing system and a mold storage and maintenance workshop.

The Phase II project is projected to be finished by the end of the year, improving production capacity by cover 60 percent, said Tang Dalin, chairman of the company.
Latest statistics showed that Hailing broke ground on 13 projects worth over 500 million yuan ($68.96 million) each so far this year, with a combined planned investment of 10.08 billion yuan.
What's more, in the year to date the district completed the construction of 12 projects, involving investment of 5.76 billion yuan.
