Hailing district, Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, has focused on attracting high quality projects and optimizing the business environment to promote economic development since the beginning of the year.
Huahui Zhigu (Taizhou) intelligent home appliance industrial park in the district stands as a shining example. The park's first phase has already completed and attracted projects in the field of smart appliances, intelligent manufacturing, and modern information technology.
Among them, Taizhou LG Electronics Refrigeration Co Ltd is the largest refrigerator production base for LG globally and it is also one of the few enterprises in Hailing district with single investment valued at over 100 billion yuan ($13.72 billion).
In addition, Hailing has developed an alley of scientific and technological innovation platforms and brought together local firms and research institutions, using technology to inject momentum into efforts to attract investment.
From January to November, Hailing signed agreements for 54 projects, each with an investment exceeding 500 million yuan, and an additional 17 projects, each with an investment exceeding 1 billion yuan.
