Hailing district in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, launched a series of festivities during the Spring Festival that attracted both locals and tourists, leading to a surge in the local festival economy.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of celebrations across Hailing, including folk parades, cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, and cultural fairs.
In addition, a captivating drone performance graced the skies over Hailing. A total of 400 drones formed intricate patterns of lions, snakes, and Chinese characters offering blessings, spreading good wishes to all.
Statistics showed that during the eight-day Spring Festival holiday, the total number of visitors to the eight A-grade scenic areas in Hailing District reached approximately 664,000, an increase of 11.3% year-on-year compared to 2024.
Moreover, the district's major commercial complexes and supermarkets saw a total of over 1.8 million customers, with an 18-percent increase in sales.
