The Nanjing Normal University Taizhou Experimental School, situated in Hailing district of Taizhou, Jiangsu province, officially opened on Aug 29.
To broaden access to top-tier educational resources and create a more equitable, excellence-focused, and unique urban education system, the district has collaborated with Nanjing Normal University, a national Double First-Class university, to jointly establish the school.
In August 2024, NNU and Hailing signed an agreement centered on trusteeship services, integrating teaching, research, and training, and fostering innovative talent development, with the goal of setting a new standard for educational excellence in northern Hailing.
Over the past year, they have worked together to appoint a principal, establish an expert committee, and create a strategic development plan. The first enrollment took place in July, setting a new record for admissions.
The institution includes preschool, primary, and junior high schools, and uses an integrated educational method throughout all stages of childhood and early adolescence.
