Jiangsu Longi Solar Technology Co, a flexible smart factory producing monocrystalline solar photovoltaic modules in Hailing district, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has been selected as a 2025 excellence-level smart factory, according to the recent list released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Longi Solar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Longi Green Energy Technology Co. It specializes in research and development and services for solar power generation technologies, along with the R&D and production of monocrystalline PV modules, positioning it among China's leading PV enterprises.
It operates 16 globally advanced production lines integrated with an industrial internet platform and an AI-driven flexible manufacturing system, achieving end-to-end intelligent upgrading from silicon wafers to finished modules.
In recent years, Longi Solar has received multiple accolades including national demonstration honors for smart manufacturing excellence, recognition as a benchmark smart factory, as well as provincial titles such as Jiangsu industrial internet model factory and green factory.
The excellence-level smart factory designation requires industry leadership in production intelligence, equipment management, data integration, full lifecycle management, and supply chain optimization.
