Jiangsu Taifeng Pumps, based in Hailing district, Taizhou, was recently included in the seventh batch of national "little giant" enterprises for specialized and sophisticated manufacturing, recognized for its professional capabilities and innovation in the pump sector.
Taifeng has strategically pivoted itself by intensifying its R&D efforts, transitioning from traditional agricultural submersible pumps to high-value-added municipal water conservancy and nuclear power applications.
Its products now feature prominently in national key projects, including Tiananmen Square fountains, the Xiaolangdi water conservancy project, and Beijing Capital Airport's T3 terminal. The company recently secured contracts for Guangxi Bailong and Shandong Haiyang nuclear projects, underscoring its market position.

With an R&D team comprising over 50 professionals and an annual investment of 4 percent of sales in technology development, Taifeng has secured 15 new invention patents in three years. Its nuclear-grade sewage submersible pump, designed for high-temperature resistance and short-term dewatering operation, has seen orders quadruple this year.
Technical innovation ultimately serves society. For the Taizhou Dongjin River pumping station, Taifeng provided customized intelligent pump systems, significantly enhancing regional flood control and ecological water replenishment capabilities through its flagship submersible axial flow pumps, which feature an innovative design that integrates pump and motor.
