An intelligent manufacturing project on air conditioners, invested by Jiangsu Fujifeng Intelligent Technology, was officially signed and settled in Hailing district, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, on April 8.
During the signing ceremony, the district's data bureau issued a business license to the project.
The project, with a total investment of 580 million yuan ($85.27 million), will be located in Hailing High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It will primarily engage in the production and manufacturing of mid-to-high-end products such as household inverter air conditioners and commercial central air conditioners.
The project aims to establish a comprehensive base covering the whole industrial chain, including research, development, testing, complete machine assembly, core component manufacturing, intelligent warehousing, logistics distribution, and sales services.
Utilizing existing factory buildings for renovation, the project is expected to commence production by the end of this year. Once fully operational, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 2 million household and commercial air conditioners, injecting new vitality into Hailing district's smart home appliance industry.
