The Huahai High-tech Business Incubator in Hailing district, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has been included in the first batch of standardized and outstanding-level technology business incubators announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
This achievement is significant as it makes the Huahai incubator the first in Taizhou to receive such an honor.
Since its establishment in 2007, the incubator has achieved several milestones, including being designated a provincial-level technology business incubator in 2009 and attaining national-level status in 2012. It has nurtured eight enterprises above designated size, which are defined as those with an annual revenue of at least 20 million yuan ($2.94 million). In addition, the incubator has supported the growth of 22 high-tech companies, including Jiangsu Yunyong Electronics and Technology, which made its debut on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.

Focusing on cutting-edge sectors such as artificial intelligence, medical devices, intelligent software, and high-end equipment manufacturing, the incubator has attracted 20 technology projects.
It provides comprehensive services, including space, business guidance, financing matchmaking, talent and technology support, industrial ecosystem building, and incentive awards throughout the entire lifecycle of tech enterprises.
Looking ahead, the incubator aims to recruit over 50 technology companies, cultivate three enterprises above designated size, and more than 20 high-tech firms within five years, striving to upgrade from a standard-level to an outstanding, professional-level national incubator.
The Hailing District Science and Technology Bureau will continue to support its development, optimize the regional incubation system, and attract more high-quality innovation resources.
