Jiangsu Gangyang Stock, a veteran component manufacturer and supplier to Chinese motorcycle brand ZXMOTO, which recently put in a strong performance at the World Superbike Championship, launched a major intelligent manufacturing project for large-displacement crankshafts in Hailing High-tech Industrial Development Zone on June 6.

The 1.05-billion-yuan ($154.59 million) expansion covers 124 mu (about 8.3 hectares) and will introduce 16 forging, three heat-treatment, and 32 machining lines. Upon completion, it will boost capacity by 3 million sets of various shaft-type components annually.

What sets this project apart is Hailing's record-speed approval process. With the cross-departmental project task force stepping in to offer comprehensive assistance, the construction permit was issued in just one day. This expedited handling moved the groundbreaking date a week ahead of schedule.

Gangyang has been a national leader in manufacturing specialized components for 70 years and now stands as the world's largest supplier of small‑power shaft parts. It is also embedded in the regional automotive and motorcycle parts supply chain. The ZXMOTO motorcycles equipped with Gangyang components have clinched multiple wins in major global events, showcasing Taizhou's strength in manufacturing on the world stage.

This capacity‑driven expansion targets the high‑growth leisure‑power segment and integrates international‑grade grinding and domestic CNC (computer numerical control) equipment, forming a closed‑loop quality‑control system that covers machining, testing, and validation.

With full government support focused on easing the process for enterprises, Hailing district is enhancing its business‑friendly reputation, demonstrating how streamlined public‑private coordination can propel advanced manufacturing and industrial‑chain growth.
