The second-phase high-power flat wire drive motor project, receiving a total investment of 110 million yuan ($16.3 million) from Jiangsu Weiteli Motor, a national-level "little giant" enterprise in Hailing district, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, is over 50 percent complete, on track for delivery and commissioning by the end of October.
The 12,000-square-meter four-story high-standard factory will house four automated production lines for mass manufacturing of flat wire stators, the core of new energy electric drive systems. Compared with traditional round wire motors, flat wire products feature higher slot fill rate, power density and energy efficiency, smaller footprint and lower noise, making them the mainstream technology for high-end 800V new energy vehicle platforms.

A long-time core supplier to leading construction machinery brands including Liugong and XCMG, Weiteli's new project fills the local industrial chain gap in the high-end industrial motor niche, aligning with national dual-carbon industrial energy conservation policies.
Upon full operation, it will deliver an annual output of 100,000 sets of flat wire stators, adding 500 million yuan in new annual sales revenue as the firm's key growth driver for the next three years.
