Shen Junfeng, Vice-Mayor of Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – recently led a team to investigate the construction and funding of projects in the city's Jiangyan district.
During the investigation, Shen visited several projects and lauded their achievements.
At the Hengchuan lithium battery project, he encouraged the enterprise to strengthen its core technology research and development and promote sustainable development.
At Liyuan Conveyor Machinery Co Ltd's intelligent high-end conveying equipment project, he emphasized the need to provide comprehensive and efficient services for the development of enterprises.
Elsewhere, an automotive bearings plant to be operated by Huanqiu Chuandong, a manufacturer based in Jiangyan Economic Development Zone, was praised for its potential contribution to industry and the economy.

Lastly, Shen inspected the progress of the Zhenhua Haike intelligent high-performance naval pumps and offshore equipment project – calling on the company to continuously improve its production processes and enhance its core competitiveness.
Following the site visits, Shen hosted a symposium to discuss project construction, investment operations and the zone's development.
He emphasized the need to enhance the zone's core competitiveness, focus on promotions, attract new projects, optimize the business environment and provide professional services.
Sun Liangliang, one of Jiangyan's leaders, expressed the district's commitment to attracting and expanding the reserves of projects, strengthening industrial support and promoting economic growth in the future.
