Two companies from the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone – located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently received prizes in the Investment and Financing Linked Top 20 list of the 7th Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Awards in Taizhou.
The event, co-hosted by the Taizhou local financial supervision bureau and the Bank of Nanjing, aims to provide strong support for Taizhou's industry growth and to pave the way for the development of a positive cycle of technology-industry-finance.
Over 1,000 companies participated in the selection process for the awards, with 230 companies evaluated since the competition's launch in July.
The two award-winning enterprises from the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone were Jiangsu LumiMetric Co Ltd (LumiMetric) and Jiangsu ASCOMCo Ltd.
LumiMetric manufactures semiconductor lasers, fiber lasers, solid-state lasers and applications systems – earning it prestigious awards as a high-power laser engineering center. With over 100 patents, LumiMetric aims to be a global leader in its field.
ASCOM produces central air conditioning and air-source heat pump products. The group's emphasis on research and innovation has made it an influential player in China's air-conditioning and air-source industry.
By incorporating advanced technologies like jet enthalpy increases and CO2 heat pumps, ASCOM has achieved top precision and efficiency in its products.
