Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology in the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone recently obtained the world's first certification for all application scenarios based on the International Electrotechnical Commission 62556 standard for its N-TOPCon transparent backsheets for bifacial photovoltaic modules.
The certification process involved testing the performance of photovoltaic modules in various scenarios to ensure stable and efficient energy conversion. As a key indicator of the quality of solar panels, the company's N-type products boast a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 26.5 percent, exceeding the industry average by 1 percentage point.
Jolywood has invested 600 million yuan ($84.2 million) in the construction of an intelligent factory. In addition, 5G networks have been installed to cover all production equipment to increase efficiency. The company has also established a research team of 452 people and allocated nearly 1.2 billion yuan for product research and development.

Fang Cui, the company's production manager, highlighted that the company has managed to reduce labor costs by 40 percent, increase production capacity by 50 percent and raise the product qualification rate from 90 percent to around 98.5 percent.
The company's products are well-received in the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia, playing a significant role in promoting the green energy transformation in these regions. Additionally, its N-TOPCon bifacial photovoltaic cells and modules have consistently ranked among the world's top three in sales in the N-type segment for the past several years.
From January to July, the company achieved sales revenue of 1.72 billion yuan, with exports accounting for 40 percent, reaching 683 million yuan. It is expected to export 2.5GW of products this year, a 10 percent year-on-year growth.
